SCHMIDT TALK TO LAUNCH ON EAST SAN DIEGO'S 107.9 FM - THE MOUNTAIN

Date & Place: Alpine, CA - Sunday, September 15, 2013
Air Time: 2:00AM - 2:30AM / Recurring

Schmidt Talk promises to bring new flavor to East San Diego's inhabitants (or, technically, as far as the line of sight the FM transmitter will carry the signal).

From there, it's up to the listeners to decide whether or not to keep these "decidedly spicy" signals coming through their radio dials, as beamed out from 107.9FM - The Mountain, Alpine California's (usually) tranquil radio station.

Beginning Sunday, September 15th, there'll be a new frequency coming through your radio speakers, bringing the brand by which it's become known... and it's handle is "Schmidt".

Schmidt Talk is the metaphorical "fly in the ointment" of the online radio circuit... and now, host and creator, Savvy Schmidt is now deciding to take her online endeavor into the terrestrial radio realm.

A known production rebel, Savvy Schmidt has been well-known for writing edgy material, or, consistently creating content that pushes the envelope.

Schmidt Talk's content runs the gamut between original, yet dark, and usually lands somewhere along the lines of ostentatious and questionable (even what some would consider repulsive).

To sum it up, If you're looking for family entertainment, this show won't be something to turn to as a good moral compass... But one thing Schmidt Talk will do, is keep listeners guessing as to what crazy idea writer (& host) Savvy Schmidt will be producing next... and, it will keep you entertained.

I've noticed healing has always taken time. (And healing DOES occur with time.) Get Lucky

There's blind luck, where something positive happens out of the blue. Many times when we see people who happen to appear happy, they seem very "lucky" to us... Or are they? I'm starting an experiment to see how far a positive attitude can take me, and see if this action begets lucky happenstances... to remove the veil, and see if lucky occurances are largely controlled by the effort one might put forth in pursuing them. Media Baby

The single least-complaining, and easy- going trooper I've been blessed to sometimes be able to bring to work with me, is my first-born daughter. And this blog is one about her. (I am currently expecting my 2nd child). Tonight is one of those such nights, where she has accompanied me on the job. It's early evening, and here she is... And we are trying mercilessly to kill time at the radio station - (my second job... a job I had to report to after spending 19 straight hours on the job at the TV station (my first job of the day).
